One dead as ticketless passenger goes on a stabbing spree on Mumbai-Bengaluru Chalukya Express
According to a top police official, the dead railway employee was a coach attendant on board. While the coach attendant died on the spot, the TTE and two others sustained serious injuries. Belagavi Police Commissioner Lada Martin Marbaniang said the passenger entered into an argument when the TTE asked him for the ticket and suddenly began assaulting him. When the coach attendant intervened to stop the assault on the TTE, the passenger stabbed him to death and went on a stabbing spree injuring the TTE and two others on board, said Lada Martin. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Belagavi where Lada Martin met them on Thursday night.

The paper has noted that the share of Hindu population had decreased by 7.8 per cent while that of Muslim population had increased by 43.1 per cent between 1950 and 2015. Election-time incarceration, which renders the playing field disadvantageous to the affected parties, adversely affects the democratic spirit.

Rs 62 to Rs 273: This Jhunjhunwala stock turned into multibagger in two years, approached record high today

NCC stock which closed at Rs 62.1 on May 13, 2022 rose to Rs 273 in today's trade, delivering 339% returns druing the period. NCC shares rose 8% to a high of Rs 272.95 against the previous close of Rs 251.05 on BSE. Profit climbed to Rs 239.2 crore in Q4 against Rs 191 crore in the March 2023 quarter. Revenue from operations climbed 31 percent to Rs 6485 crore in Q4 against Rs 4949 crore in the March 2023 quarter.

90 hospitalised after eating food during temple feast in Maharashtra's Nanded
MUMBAI: In a suspected food poisoning case, at least 90 persons were admitted to different hospitals after consuming eatables during a temple feast in Maharashtra's Nanded district, police said on Thursday. "A feast was organised and food was served to devotees just outside a Shiva temple. But towards late evening, there were more complaints of food poisoning. Till late night, a total of 90 people were admitted to various hospitals for treatment," he said. Taking cognisance of the incident, a police team visited the spot and an inquiry is being conducted, he said.
