Case against Allu Arjun, Jagan Reddy's party MLA for poll code violation
A case has been registered against actor Allu Arjun and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Nandyala MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy for violating the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh on Monday (May 13). They were accused of allowing a large public gathering at the MLA's residence, leading to a violation of the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the Andhra Pradesh elections. The case was registered by Deputy Tehsildar P Ramachandra Rao from Nandyala Rural, assigned to oversee elections in Nandyala constituency in Andhra Pradesh.

SC to hear ex-Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's plea against arrest in ED case on May 13
A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta will hear the plea of Soren in which he has challenged the May 3 order of the Jharkhand High Court dismissing his petition against the arrest. Soren had also sought interim bail for campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections till the court delivers its verdict on his plea against arrest. On May 10, the top court had disposed of Soren's plea seeking a direction to the high court to deliver its verdict on his petition challenging his arrest by the ED in a money laundering case. In his appeal filed through advocate Praghya Baghel, Soren said that the high court had erred in dismissing his plea against the arrest. On May 3, the high court dismissed his plea and denied him bail in the money laundering case.

3 Kenyan Women Who Surrendered Ksh40M Gold Arrested at Indian Airport
Three Kenyan women found themselves behind bars at an airport in India despite surrendering and volunteering information on the gold bars they were carrying. Media outlets in India reported that the three arrived at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport early Saturday morning. The three then voluntarily at the red channel counter to declare the value of the gold bars they were carrying which they estimated at 2.5 kilogrammes. Controversial TV actor Shalin Bhanot has been confirmed to join reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14, as per reports. Indianexpress.com quoted a source and said that Bhanot has been confirmed as one of the final contestants of KKK 14.
