MELAKA: Two Myanmar men suffered serious injuries when they were slashed with a parang during a brawl with two fellow countrymen at Melaka Sentral today. In the 12.30pm incident, the men aged 20 and 22, suffered injuries on their heads and were rushed to the Melaka Hospital for treatment. Melaka Tengah police chief Assistant Commissioner Afzanizar Ahmad said another Myanmar man, aged 33, was unhurt as he managed to flee in time. "We have arrested the attacker, aged 26, as he was behaving suspiciously at the taxi stand and seized a parang from him," he said. Afzanizar said the case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons.
