Allexis Siebrecht marks transplant anniversary1:22"It's quite emotional reflecting back on a year ago today," said Allexis's mom Liz Siebrecht. 12-year-old Allexis Siebrecht was all smiles Wednesday celebrating one year to the day since she received the liver transplant that saved her life. "Alexis is full of life" Siebrecht said of her active daugther. She released yellow roses into the river at the Forks on Wednesday to mark the one year anniversary of her surgery. The Winnipeg girl was born with the rare liver disease Biliary Atresia and underwent the life saving procedure in Toronto at Sick Kids hospital.
