UniversalWe are three weeks away from the start of the summer movie season. The summer season was once the time when Hollywood trotted out what it hoped would be its biggest would-be moneymakers in order to take advantage of the three-month chunk of time when kids are out of school. What does it say that Annabelle: Creation is New Line's big summer horror movie yet Stephen King's It is slotted for early September? To be fair, summer movies don't have to rule the year's box office in order for the season to be valuable real estate. And that's my prelude to the summer movie preview, which I hope will begin tomorrow.
