Tang said she first got interested in horticulture in primary school but had to put her hobby aside during secondary school and while pursuing tertiary studies and working in Singapore. About two years ago, Tang met a group of nature lovers in her hometown of Pekan Nanas, which inspired her to pick up horticulture again.
