Coronavirus: Three new cases linked to Bluff cluster


There are three new Coronavirus cases in the Southern District Health Board catchment area today – all linked to the Bluff cluster. This brings the total for the region to 213, while the total number of cases in the cluster sits at 89. The Southern District Health Board has confirmed on its website that the new cases are in the Queenstown-Lakes district and Dunedin. A man from the Invercargill suburb of Kingswell is believed to be the first Coronavirus death in Southland. Nationally, 20 new cases were reported on Wednesday, bringing the total of probable and confirmed cases to 1386.
