The Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday (March 31) launched a portal to distribute information towards the foreign tourists in India amid coronavirus lockdown across the nation. Government of India's ‘Stranded in India’ portal's main aims will be to act as a support network for foreign tourists stuck in various parts of the country. India has imposed a 21-day lockdown till April 14 to combat the spread of novel coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), there are 1251 confirmed cases of coronavirus cases in the country and 32 fatalities have been reported. Worldwide, coronavirus cases continue to rise dramatically, with the number of infections nearing 8 lakh on Monday.
