PETALING JAYA: Despite having to celebrate Father's Day next week under lockdown, many continue to plan mini surprises to show their love and appreciation for the fathers in their lives. Housewife Diyanah Zainuddin said she is planning on having a simple Father's Day celebration this year with cake and hand-made gifts for her husband, who is the father of her two daughters. The 30-year-old said she wishes to celebrate Father's Day every year now that her kids are toddlers. "I'm looking for a new mug for my husband as he just broke the Father's Day mug that I bought him last year!" For Intan Syazreena, their usual dinner celebration for Father's Day with her entire family will have to be postponed this year and they will celebrate the day with a modest dinner and a home-cooked meal.
