Kulbhushan Jadhav Kulbhushan JadhavResponding to Pakistan’s offer of arranging a meeting between Indian death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav and his wife, India has told that Jadhav’s wife and mother would like to meet him, along with an Indian envoy. Apart from this, India has also sought a sovereign guarantee from Pakistan that the Jadhav’s family members would not be harassed or questioned when they visit him. The Pakistan government, earlier this month, had agreed to let Jadhav meet his wife on “humanitarian grounds”. Pakistan has repeatedly denied India consular access to Jadhav on the ground that it was not applicable in cases related to spies.
