Firefighters have rescued a kitten which was stuck in a tree for three days in Muradnagar upazila, Comilla. Chased by a dog, the orange-and-white kitten climbed up to the top branches of a 120-feet-high silk tree at the Upazila Health Complex on Friday. The officials informed the matter to Muradnagar Fire Service and a team of firefighters went for the rescue on Monday. The firefighters had finally decided to take the risk and rescued the kitten, he added. Upazila Livestock Officer Abdur Rahim told the Dhaka Tribune that apart from some weakness for three days of starvation, the condition of the kitten was quite well.
