Zoran Filipovic is the new coach of Libya’s men’s national football team. The Montenegrin was unveiled during a press conference held by the Libyan Football Association (LFA) in the capital Tripoli. He will be assisted by Mohamed Al-Kikli, who guided Al Nasr to the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals last season. His immediate challenge will be to guide the North African nation through the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which will be held in Cameroon between January and February next year. Thereafter, he will oversee the team’s qualification campaign for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
