PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry's suggestion to postpone all select committee meetings in Parliament for two weeks is "ridiculous", says the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). "The PAC is scheduled to call the Health Minister and the Health director-general in our proceedings tomorrow (Aug 2) at 10.30am on the issue of vaccine procurement. "My first response to the Dewan Rakyat secretary – this is ridiculous!" "I have instructed the Dewan Rakyat secretary to inform the Health director-general that our proceedings shall go on. "When Parliament is not sitting, there will be less than 30 people in the PAC committee room," he added.
