PH accedes to cross-border paperless trade in Asia-Pacific 0 SHARES Share it! The Philippines is the second ESCAP member-State, after Azerbaijan, and the first in Southeast Asia to have made such a deposit. Signing into the Agreement is now open to the 53 member-States of ESCAP. The agreement lays out standards for relevant government trade regulatory and administrative agencies to facilitate the electronic exchange of data, documents and other information between trading entities from State Parties. With the simplification of the process by moving to paperless procedures, the ESCAP measure is aiming to boost sustainable progress in the entire region.
