The vaccination target for Penang for June 2021 is 6,544 doses per day. However, as a result of joint efforts by the Penang State Health Department and related parties, we have achieved 14,422 doses by June 24, with some PPVs recording a level that exceeded maximum capacity," he said. He said that as of June 24, the website, vaksincovid.gov.my, reported that the vaccination rate in Penang was 13.91%. The state government will continue to mobilise its resources to get the people of Penang to be vaccinated, he added.
