The substance which was concealed in a fertilizer and Polythene bags was found covered with a discarded banner of the Church. Joseph Asiam-Steward of Bethel Society of the Methodist Church-Koforidua Anlo Town Circuit said sometimes the Church members keep vigil to lay ambush in attempt to arrest the perpetrators but they do not succeed. According to him, today’s incident has come as a shock considering the large quantity of Marijuana found in their church. He said the Church leadership is considering hiring a private security to guard the facility while the Church mobilize funds to Complete the Church building.
