TH monitors quality of products, services for haj pilgrims

MEDINA: Tabung Haji (TH) monitors the quality of services offered to haj pilgrims by third party providers on a regular basis to ensure they meet acceptable standards and add value to the pilgrims’ experiences. “We focus on the staff on duty, the products and services they provide,” TH manager for Third Party Services (Medina) Mohd Lotfi Kassim told Malaysian media here. For delivery of zamzam water, the rate this year is SR130 for a 10 litre bottle (SR150 for East Malaysia),” he said. Lotfi said in 2016, more than 335 tonnes of cargo, and more than 20,000 bottles of zamzam water, were sent back to Malaysia during haj season. If it still does not meet the required standard, we will take action and not consider using their services anymore for the next haj season,” he added.
