By 11pm on election night, Fox News was declaring Donald Trump “a phoenix from the ashes”. It will be “not just the greatest political comeback of all time,” added Laura Ingraham. Things were looking quite different on election night in 2020. Fox News paid voting machine maker Dominion $787.5m in a settlement over misinformation in the 2020 election. “You know who else should be ashamed of themselves is Fox,” Trump said.

Last night I had hoped to never have to write Trump’s name again. That's according to City University of New York journalism professor Jeff Jarvis, who recently authored a Medium essay entitled: "How F—ed Are We?" Jarvis wrote that Americans can expect "vast tragedy and destruction" over the next four years assuming President-elect Donald Trump intends to enact his campaign promises. With his comeback victory to reclaim the presidency, Mr. Trump has now established himself as a transformational force reshaping the United States in his own image. Mr. Trump’s testosterone-driven campaign capitalized on resistance to electing the first woman president.

By attacking Israel and Azerbaijan, the Washington Post has demonstrated that it is not a balanced newspaper, which respects the contributions of America’s allies. Relying solely upon Palestinian testimony, anonymous sources, and an anti-Israel organization, the Washington Post accused Israel of committing war crimes. But the Washington Post has demonstrated that they are a biased source of information, that does not value America’s allies. The European Parliament just passed a resolution blasting Azerbaijan, making similar arguments to what was put forth in the Washington Post article. The inherent bias against Israel and Azerbaijan in the Washington Post must come to an end.

New York Times reporter Peter Baker had some words of caution as former President Donald Trump is projected to serve a second term in the White House. Baker said Wednesday on MSNBC“s ”Morning Joe" that Americans are now in for a long era of the former president. He didn’t win 2020, no matter what he says and that he will eventually be purged. We’re going to have a 12-year era at least of Trump, and that’s a pretty significant era,” he added. Trump’s win marked a historical moment for him and his campaign as he clinched the necessary votes to win the Electoral College.

Prescription files at the Walgreens will be transferred to the CVS Pharmacy across the street, at 3133 Langston Blvd, a sign posted outside the drug store says. “It is never an easy decision to close a store,” Walgreens spokesperson Jennifer Cotto told ARLnow. Many items at the Walgreens were on clearance and several shelves were emptying out when ARLnow visited earlier this week.

California’s 47th Congressional District, which includes Huntington Beach, is one of a half-dozen highly competitive House races in the Golden State that could determine which party controls Congress. The fight for control of the U.S. House of Representatives remained unresolved Wednesday as votes were still being counted in several competitive races in California that could determine whether Democrats or Republicans win the majority. California’s Republican House incumbents campaigned on inflation, crime and U.S.-Mexico border security, painting their opponents as out-of-touch radicals who have caused higher taxes and gas prices. Here are the closest House races to watch across California. Min, a Democrat, is running against Baugh, the former Orange County GOP chair.

CNN‘s Van Jones had a grim and deeply concerned reaction as he realized Donald Trump was on the verge of defeating Kamala Harris and re-gaining the presidency. “I’m thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody’s elite who are hurting tonight,” Jones said. And tonight, they’re trading in a lot of hope for a lot of hurt. There are going to be people tomorrow; we’re going to be handing clothes [to immigrants at] the dry cleaners who don’t have papers. So it’s easy to blow this off — ‘Oh, look at the elite, they’re gonna get their comeuppance.’ It’s not the elite who are going to pay the price.

Updates on the feasibility of utilizing e-learning to sustain medical radiation technology education in light of the escalating conflict in SudanAbstract The purpose of the following paper is to offer an update on the feasibility of using e-learning to sustain medical radiation technology education in light of Sudan’s ongoing crisis. Unfortunately, due to infrastructure deficiencies and a lack of appropriate capabilities to resume face-to-face teaching of medical radiation technology in Sudan’s safe states, the majority of universities, including several medical radiation technology colleges, have decided to continue the educational process via e-learning. However, Sudan’s e-learning system, currently the sole means of maintaining medical radiation technology education, suffers from significant flaws. Sudan has eleven medical radiation technology colleges, with ten located in Khartoum State. Sudan’s conflict: the Khartoum War and its impact on the continuation of medical radiation technology education.
