Specifically, I posit we are in a better place now than we were in 2020 when it comes to work-life balance. As the leader of Riveron's New York office, I'm probably the poster child for being in the office. I'm in the office four days a week. In fact, I find more and more of my clients have evolved their return-to-office strategies in a similar way to Starbucks. Starbucks is stepping up efforts to enforce its return-to-office mandate with a warning: Comply with the policy or risk termination.

The third major player in this election is the economy, which has shaped both campaigns’ narratives and kept the race on a razor’s edge. Trump has said he would push through an array of tax cuts and tariffs, while painting a darker picture of the economy. The interplay between robust growth and high prices might be a major reason why polls show the election as a tossup. The first is the per capita growth rate of real, or inflation-adjusted, gross domestic product in the three quarters before the election. It might sound contradictory that viewers of the most-watched network are more likely to say it’s not mainstream media, but that’s the case, according to the poll, published Friday by the Pew Research Center. When asked whether their favored news source is part of the mainstream media, just 61% of those who prefer Fox said it was. NPR listeners were more likely to see themselves as a breed apart, with 69% who prefer it saying it was part of the mainstream media. Another result might indicate that some people might define “mainstream media” as something other than news organizations that adhere to a common set of standards. Federal officials warned that Russia will likely release additional “manufactured content” on Election Day and poses “the most active threat” when it comes to foreign election influence. The effort described by federal officials is part of a wide-ranging influence operation by Russia designed to undermine confidence in the electoral process and sow discord among American voters. In their statement, officials also drew fresh attention to Iran’s attempts to interfere in the election, which include a hack-and-leak operation designed to harm Trump’s candidacy. The Arizona video promoted on social media by Russian actors on Monday purported to show an anonymous whistleblower revealing an election fraud scheme. Federal officials said the Arizona Secretary of State’s office had already refuted the content of the video.

He’s charged with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempted destruction of an energy facility. The following month, Philippi introduced the idea for the energy facility plot to another confidential source, it says. With undercover FBI agents posing as accomplices, Philippi in September allegedly conducted “a reconnaissance of the substation,” the complaint states. “Electric utilities have always taken substation security seriously, primarily because of safety,” Patrick C. Miller, CEO of Oregon-based Ampere Industrial Security, which works with utilities to boost their security, told CNN in 2023. In 2020, a drone crashed near a Pennsylvania power substation in what was likely an effort to damage or disrupt the electric equipment, federal law enforcement said.
