A Feni court on Wednesday issued an arrest warrant against 171 people including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in connection with the killing of a college student during the July uprising. A Supreme Court lawyer has filed a public interest petition in the High Court seeking suspension of the national election until thousands of firearms looted during last year’s uprising are recovered.
