A productive Ethio-Pakistan Business Forum was held in Addis Ababa on Monday in the presence of more than 500 businesspersons from diverse sectors including agriculture and agro-processing, manufacturing, mining, tourism and information and communication technology (ICT). Addressing the forum, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano said the Ethio-Pakistan Business Forum would be instrumental in giving first-hand information to the business community of Pakistan on trade and investment opportunities in Ethiopia. She pointed out that Ethiopia and Pakistan had enjoyed longstanding relations that had been flourishing with increased cooperation in economy, healthcare and education. He highlighted the homegrown Economic Agenda 2.0 under which multiple initiatives were taken to facilitate and incentivise the business, trade and investment.
