The centenarian leader breathed his last at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, where he had been undergoing treatment since February 1. Despite intensive care, his condition turned critical, and he did not respond to treatment. With his passing, Tamil Nadu has lost its last centenarian Communist stalwart—a man who dedicated nearly eight decades of his life to the service of the people.

At least 34 terrorists have been killed by Pakistani security forces as part of ongoing counter-terrorism operations, the army said on Wednesday. The security forces killed 26 terrorists in four separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the north-west and another eight in Balochistan province in the south-west of the country. Chhindwara News: अनुसूचित जाति जूनियर कन्या छात्रावास न्यूटन चिखली की एक छात्रा ने गत दिवस अधीक्षिका द्वारा मारपीट करने और प्रताड़ित करने से तंग आकर आत्महत्या करने का प्रयास किया। लगभग एक सप्ताह से अपने परिवार के साथ रह रही उक्त छात्रा को लेकर उसके पालक मंगलवार को एसडीएम कार्यालय परासिया पहुंचे।अधीक्षिका के खिलाफ मारपीट करने और धमकाने का आरोप लगाते हुए शिकायत की। छात्रा के पालकों ने बताया कि अधीक्षिका की प्रताड़ना के चलते उनकी बेटी ने छात्रावास में आत्महत्या करने का प्रयास किया। उनकी मांग है कि अधीक्षिका को छात्रावास से हटाया जाए और मामले में उचित कार्रवाई हो। जुन्नारदेव ब्लाक की छात्रा उक्त छात्रावास में रहती है और सांदीपनि विद्यालय न्यूटन चिखली में सातवी कक्षा में अध्ययनरत है। गत सप्ताह उक्त छात्रा के साथ अधीक्षिका माया मांडवार द्वारा किसी बात पर मारपीट की गई।इसके बाद उक्त छात्रा ने आत्महत्या करने का प्रयास किया। छात्रावास की अन्य छात्राओं ने उसे ऐसा करने से रोका, जिसकी जानकारी अधीक्षका को मिली तो उन्होंने उक्त छात्रा को उसके घर पहुंचा दिया। उक्त छात्रा के माता-पिता का कहना है कि बेटी से छात्रावास में हुई प्रताडऩा की जानकारी मिलने पर वे शिकायत करने आए।स्थानांतरण पर न्यायालय से मिला है स्टे आर्डरछात्रावास अधीक्षिका का स्थानांतरण होने पर वे आदेश के खिलाफ न्यायालय की शरण में पहुंची। जहां से न्यायालय ने स्थानांतरण आदेश पर स्टे आर्डर जारी किया है।इनका कहना है..जानकारी मिली है। इस मामले में आज छात्रावास में पहुंचकर पूरे मामले की जांच की जाएगी।-मनीष बोरकर, क्षेत्र संयोजक, ट्राइबल

भास्कर न्यूज, पुणे। कोथरूड इलाके में स्थित मामासाहब मोहोल कॉलेज के गेट पर 12वीं के एक छात्र पर कोयते से हमला किए जाने की घटना सामने आई है। हमले में छात्र को हल्की चोट आई है। पुलिस ने इस मामले में आरोपियों को हिरासत में ले लिया है। सभी आरोपी नाबालिग बताए जा रहे हैं।जानकारी के अनुसार, शंकर मिरगणे नाम का छात्र 12वीं की परीक्षा देकर कॉलेज से बाहर निकला था। उसी दौरान तीन अज्ञात युवकों ने उस पर कोयते से हमला कर दिया। घटना के बाद कॉलेज परिसर में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। पुलिस जांच में सामने आया है कि पीड़ित और आरोपी पहले वारजे स्थित शानू पटेल स्कूल में साथ पढ़ते थे। करीब दो से तीन साल पहले, जब सभी 10वीं कक्षा में थे, उस समय उनके बीच झगड़ा हुआ था। उसी पुराने विवाद की रंजिश में यह हमला किया गया। पुलिस के अनुसार, हमले में छात्र को गंभीर चोट नहीं आई है। आरोपियों को हिरासत में लेकर आगे की कार्रवाई की जा रही है। चूंकि सभी आरोपी नाबालिग हैं, इसलिए उनके खिलाफ किशोर न्याय कानून के तहत कार्रवाई की जाएगी। डीसीपी संभाजी कदम ने बताया इस घटना में पीड़ित को मामूली चोट आई है वहाँ पहले से पुलिस मौजूद थी पुलिस ने झगड़ा होने से रोका।
