A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in Mukwa village, Kakamega County, on Tuesday, February 20, following an altercation with the police. Upon arrival at the scene, the team of officers led by Navokholo OCS Kennedy Odongo found a frantic mother, and the suspect in her pursuit. The suspect persisted and aimed to cut the OCS who was still down, and in the process, the OCS shot him fatally in the chest. Ekeza Sacco founder David ‘Gakuyo’ Kariuki arrestedTelevangelist David Kariuki Ngare, popularly known as Gakuyo, has been arrested.
