CAIRO – 19 May 2023: Arab leaders agreed in the final statement of the 32nd Arab League Summit, which was held, Friday, in Jeddah, on the need to unite to solve Arab nation's issues. The summit discussed several issues, including Palestine, the crises in Sudan, Libya, as well as the issues of Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. The final statement of the summit included more than 32 points on various pressing issues in the Arab world, starting with the Palestinian cause, the Syrian crisis, and the Lebanese situation, the Iranian file, environment, cybersecurity, along with economic and social files. As for the Syrian issue, the League stressed its commitment to preserving Syria's sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability, and the intensification of efforts to help it get out of its crisis, and end the suffering of the Syrian people. As for the situation in Libya, the summit’s final statement affirmed commitment to the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Libya, the rejection of all types of external interference, and the refrain from escalation.
