The ship belonged to the Greek company Messrs Redwings Shipping SA and crashed in the Janjour region of Libya. Tabassum Mansoor’s role is importantAmbassador Gangte said that as a result of Tripoli’s previous efforts we had no success but Mansoor’s role remained important and he paved the way for the release of the sailors. Notably, Tabassum Mansoor, known for his dedication to the welfare of Indian citizens in Libya, used his extensive network to broker talks with a group of rebels.
