Photo : BSSRANGPUR, Jan 31, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami-nominated MP candidate for Rangpur-2 (Badarganj-Taraganj) constituency ATM Azharul Islam has called on voters to support him by casting their votes for the party's election symbol 'Daripalla' (Scales) to help establish justice and fairness in society. "Only when justice and fairness are established can the welfare of the people be ensured," he said while addressing an election rally at the Tentultala High School ground in Taraganj Upazila on Saturday night as the chief guest. Referring to his own experience, he said, "I was freed after receiving a fair trial in the context of the July Revolution. To protect this independence and the country's sovereignty, we must all work together to build a developed, just and fair society and state." The rally was presided over by Alampur Union Jamaat President Mohammad Akkas Ali.
