Adib Saani, a security and foreign policy analyst, has stated that Nana Agradaa, known in private life as Patricia Asiedua, is successful with her 'sika gari' scams because of greed and penchant for ‘overnight riches’ on the part of her victims. He said, many Ghanaians are in a haste to amass wealth, hence their vulnerability to deceptive ploys by con artists like ‘Nana Agradaa’. “In fact, I don’t blame ‘Agradaa’. She is also said to have advertised that she would double monies that are brought to her church, Heavenway Champion International Ministry, on the day. Meanwhile, the Police have arrested Patricia Asiedua, alias ‘Nana Agradaa’ following the allegations of a money-doubling scam levelled against her by some members of the public.
