STUDENTS will have to pay for the entire month’s bus fare even though they are attending classes for only half the month, according to the Federation of Malaysian School Bus Operators Association president, reports China Press. Its president Amali Munif Rahmat said that operators will have to bear the same cost of running a business even though the number of bus trips a student takes has reduced. “A bus driver will have to memorise each child’s face, the school they go to, the home address and the time classes end. He expects that there will be a fall in the number of students taking the school bus due to the pandemic.
