The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) says its governor, Saddek Elkaber, has issued instructions to disburse the financial allocations for the Medical Centre in Sabha. The CBL indicated that the decision came on Sunday following a meeting between Elkaber and Mousa Al-Koni, vice President of the Presidential Council who hails from the southern region. Discussions focused on the disbursement of financial allocations to the Sabha Medical Centre and mechanisms for overcoming the fiscal woes that impede the hospital's work as a premier destination for medical treatment in the southern region. According to the Sabha Medical Centre on Facebook, the funds will be used to improve the infrastructure and to purchase the necessary medical equipment and supplies to ensure better health services to patients.
