Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population on Tuesday reported 856 new coronavirus cases, 61 deaths, and 719 recoveries. A total of 352,123 cases have been reported in Egypt, with 20,052 deaths and 293,374 recoveries. The Health Ministry has stated that official figures likely only represent 10 percent of actual cases. A statement from the Health and Population Ministry earlier in November said that a total of 41,939.792 coronavirus doses have has been administered in Egypt so far. Egypt’s vaccination campaign began in January with priority groups and later expanded to university students.
