Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday reported 929 new coronavirus cases, 69 deaths, and 543 recoveries. A total of 343,026 cases have been disclosed in Egypt, this includes 19,435 deaths and 286,891 recoveries. Moreover, the Health Ministry has stated that official figures most likely only represent 10 percent of actual cases. Egypt has thus far succeeded in providing all types of vaccines against the coronavirus, according to the directives of the political leadership. Taj Eddin explained that Egypt has diversified sources of obtaining vaccines, such as the Chinese vaccine, AstraZeneca, or Johnson & Johnson, as well as vaccines from the Global Vaccine Alliance.
