PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll has reached 20,711 after the Health Ministry reported 292 more coronavirus deaths on Sunday (Sept 12). The government has changed its method of reporting Covid-19 deaths to better reflect the current pandemic situation in the country. Based on the latest graph, the statistics of Covid-19 deaths shows a downward trend. Of the 292 reported deaths on Sunday, there were 106 fatalities classified as “brought-in-dead” (BID) cases. The number of active Covid-19 cases is 237,277, a reduction of 2,074 from the previous day.
