PETALING JAYA: Malaysia administered 287,059 Covid-19 vaccine doses on Friday (Sept 10), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV). JKJAV said that of this total, 111,027 received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 176,032 individuals had either completed both doses or received a single-dose Covid-19 vaccine. Sarawak led the way in first doses, administering 19,080 jabs, followed by Perak (16,785), Johor (16,140) and Pahang (14,995). JKJAV also said that to date, 38,001,646 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. As of Friday, 90.5% of the country's adult population had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, while 72% of the adult population were fully vaccinated.
