Well, deep down every writer wants to sell a shedload of books, though ideally they’ll all be read as well. She’s been very clear that while daddy is a writer, she’s not interested in any of his spooky stories so this one was for kids. It has Daughter in the lead role, because she asked me to write a book for her. It’s one thing to write a book. Ultimately, trying my hand at a children’s book was a very good thing.
