A Nigerian inmate at the Kaliti Prison in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is currently down with a stroke, SaharaReporters has gathered. SaharaReporters gathered that several Nigerian inmates have fallen ill due to malnourishment as they are allegedly fed white rice without sauce once a day, all year round. We have lost two Nigerians in that prison in the last six months and our government kept quiet. “Another Nigerian, Lawrence from Delta state is currently down with stroke and the doctors in Kaliti Prison have not treated him. Our government should please transfer us to Nigerian prisons.”SaharaReporters had recently reported that over 300 Nigerians were languishing in the Ethiopian prison.
