CAIRO – 29 October 2021: Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has said that ending the state of emergency in Egypt reflects the country's stability and its success in the war against terrorism, especially in Sinai. In an interview with "Les Echos" French newspaper Friday, Madbouli pointed out that ending the state of emergency is a good message from Egypt to the world, confirming that the exceptional measures are over and that "we are back to normal life". He further underlined the necessity of reaching a legally binding agreement on the filling and operation of the Ethiopian dam. Asked about the results of his visit to France, Madbouli expressed his great satisfaction with his talks with French Prime Minister Jean Castex and Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire, describing France as Egypt's strategic partner. He noted that both Egypt and France signed several agreements during his visit.
