He termed the G20 gathering illegal, and an attempt by India to seek legitimacy over its control of the disputed region. “It is encouraging that the conscious countries are skipping the G20 summit in the disputed region,” she said. Mullick emphasised that the G20 event in Srinagar was an attempt by the Modi government to portray normalcy in IIOJK.
