Photo: NZ HeraldA high-profile New Zealand musician has been arrested on nearly a dozen counts of family violence, the latest alleged incident on Boxing Day in Queenstown last year. The Auckland resident appeared in Auckland District Court late this afternoon wearing a long black shirt and glasses and faces charges dating back to November 2022. The latest alleged incident occurred on Boxing Day in Queenstown and is said by police to have involved an assault using a water bottle as a weapon. Another alleged assault, in July last year, involved a slipper as a weapon, court documents state. He elected a trial by jury and was ordered to return to court for his next appearance in May.
