CAIRO - 28 April 2022: Botanical Garden in Aswan governorate, south of Egypt, is prepared to receive visitors during Eid al-Fitr holiday, as it hosts 720 rare plant species worldwide. The garden, according to its director Dr. Amr Mahmoud, is one of the preferred destinations during such occasions, as it receives thousands of visitors on holidays. Dr. Amr Mahmoud also explained that the Botanical Garden in Aswan contains 720 rare plant species, and was formed by silt deposition before the construction of the High Dam on the rocks in the Nile River. He pointed out that foreign tourists and Egyptians are keen to visit the garden, especially on occasions and during feasts. The garden opens its doors from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day.
