Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said in a letter addressed to the American people that his country harbours no enmity towards ordinary Americans, Press TV reported on Wednesday. He said in his letter that portraying Iran as a threat was "neither consistent with historical reality nor with present-day observable facts". Earlier Donald Trump claimed on social media that the US would only consider a ceasefire with Iran if the Hormuz Strait opens. A cruise missile hit an oil tanker off Qatar’s coast on Wednesday, the defence ministry said. A fully-loaded Kuwaiti oil tanker came under attack off Dubai the day before, one of more than 20 ships attacked by Iran during the war.
