The move comes shortly after the coalition, led by the coalition leader Kalonzo Musyoka, announced a major reshuffle of its leadership, removing Junet from the parliamentary group leadership. Among those removed from the Azimio Coalition Council are Mining CS Hassan Joho, Nominated MPs Sabina Chege, Abdi Noor, and Omar Farah. The meeting also resolved to terminate the appointment of Junet as the leader of the Azimio Coalition Parliamentary Group in the National Assembly. In the changes, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was appointed party leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, cementing his role as a central figure in steering the coalition’s political direction.
