KATHMANDU, March 7: Kathmandu School of Law won the national round of the 58th Philip C. Jessup international Law Moot Court Competition held on March 3, organized by International Law Association Nepal (ILA Nepal). Jessup is the world’s largest moot court competition, with participants from over 550 law schools in more than 87 countries. The competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice, the judicial organ of the United Nations. The winning team will proceed to represent Nepal at the international rounds of the Jessup competition to be held from April 9-15, 2017 in Washington D.C.
