CAIRO – 2 October 2021: Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh praised the volume of infrastructure projects under construction in Egypt, especially the New Administrative Capital, as he met with Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly. Al Khasawneh said his country seeks to benefit from the Egyptian experiment in this regard, especially amid the challenges facing its big cities of Zarqa and Amman, including population growth. The meeting focused on the project to establish Egypt’s new capital project east of Cairo, including completion rates and the future prospects of this giant project. Both prime ministers also made an inspection tour of a number of projects in the new capital. The Jordanian prime minister arrived in Cairo on Thursday, for an official visit, during which he will hold a number of discussions with Madbouly.
