The 10th Infantry Battalion of the Libyan National Army has taken on the restoration and upkeep of the historic Sebha Castle. This initiative is part of the army’s community support program for local communities, as per an official statement. “The restoration work, supervised by the 10th Battalion commander, was completed by a team of engineers and specialists in the field of antiquities and restoration. On Saturday, the battalion posted a statement on Facebook, announcing that “the restoration of the ancient castle was completed in four months. This castle stands as a symbol of Libya and was destroyed by numerous wars in the past.
