--- The incident brought disrepute to the Ganta Magisterial Court, with many expressing concern about how a place for seeking justice could become a fighting arena for litigants. A dispute over seating arrangements at Ganta Magistrate Court turned violent yesterday after a defense lawyer and a complainant got into a fight. Complainant Teema Biddle suffered neck wounds after she was allegedly bitten by the defense lawyer, Yelegar Kennedy at the Court in Nimba County. Kennedy, she said choked her and later bit her ear but fought back by biting him in the chest. Kennedy was later held in contempt of court and sent to jail but escaped, according to the Court clerk.
