Thousands dead, many more missing after Storm Daniel causes flash flooding in LibyaLast updated: 13/09/23In response to the catastrophic flooding in Libya we’ve launched an emergency appeal to support the people affected. On Sunday 10 September, Storm Daniel hit north-eastern Libya, causing strong winds and sudden heavy rainfall. Some of the worst affected areas are the eastern cities of Benghazi, Sousse, Derna and Al-Marj.
