Inter Milan would like to sign Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones but, with their squad stretched, it is not in the Anfield club's interests to let any first team players leave this window. The 25-year-old has made 29 appearances for Arne Slot's side this season but missed Wednesday's Champions League victory over Qarabag due to illness. However, as it stands, the Premier League champions are not in active contact for a right-back. For his part, Inter defender Dumfries is stepping up his own rehabilitation after surgery on a fractured ankle last month. He is targeting a return for Inter's Champions League play-off with Bodo/Glimt next month.
