Police in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, were alerted to a suspected burglary at a property in the Carnany Park area of Ballymoney at around 9.15pm on Friday. The force were informed "two masked men, armed with weapons" had assaulted a woman in the house, reports Belfast Live. The victim was promptly taken to hospital by the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service for treatment. During the attack, a number of children as well as another woman and a man were said to be present in the property. “Officers attended the scene, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, who took the woman on to hospital for treatment to her injuries.
