New Brunswick's plan to put a new toll near the Nova Scotia border is not going over well with students, truckers and others who cross between provinces every day. "This will primarily affect the people that are over in New Brunswick all the time, supporting the New Brunswick economy." The toll's price has not been set yet but Finance Minister René Legacy estimates it could cost drivers around four dollars, like the Cobequid Pass toll in Nova Scotia. But people living just across the Nova Scotia border are not happy. (CBC News)MLA Smith-McCrossin believes the cost that Nova Scotia truckers take on at tolls will inevitably be passed down to consumers buying their goods in New Brunswick.
