This included Hawke’s Bay Today winning the highly coveted Voyager Newspaper of the Year and Regional Newspaper of the Year. They unanimously agreed Hawke’s Bay Today’s response to Cyclone Gabrielle was an “extraordinary effort in extraordinary times”. “It’s fantastic to have them recognised and celebrated this evening following their recent success on a global scale at the INMA Global Media Awards last month.
